Pathankot-Dalhousie 04 Nights 5 Days

Day 1:- Arrival in Pathankot and move to Dalhousie (90KM, 03 Hours)

On Arrival Pathankot Railway Station/Bus Stand. Our travel executive will provide a brief about the journey before embarking on a 3-hour journey to Dalhousie. The journey includes a visit to Jandri Ghat Palace, Jandhrighat Palace, Subhash Bowli, Bara Pathar, Panjphulla, Subhash Chowk, GPO Dalhousie, and Satdhara. The trip also includes visits to old churches, a walk from GPO to Subhash Chownk through Thandi Sarak, Dain Kund, and Bakrota Hills, and trying out local delicacies. The day ends with checking into a reserved hotel. Overnight Stay.

Day 2:- Dalhousie to Khajjiar Local Sightseeings

After breakfast, our taxi will take you to Khajjiar, which is entitled as the Mini Switzerland of India and is known for its dense greenery and solitude. The place is shrouded by clouds all year round, providing a mesmerizing view. At Khajjiar, you can enjoy paragliding, visit the Tibetan Handicrafts Centre, Khajji Nag Temple, and The Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary which is home to various flora and fauna. You will have an exciting day under the clear sky and awesome weather. We recommend waking up early to enjoy the full day at Khajjiar. After the excursion, you will return to your Dalhousie hotel to rest and cherish the correct decision you made.

Day 3:- Transfer Dalhousie to Dharamshala (130Km, 3-4 Hrs)

After an enjoyable stay at Dalhousie, our taxi will take you on a 4-hour journey to Dharamshala. The scenic drive passes through beautiful valleys, small villages, and forests. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and freshen up before starting your sightseeing tour.

Your first stop will be the Dalai Lama Temple Complex, a beautiful spiritual center and home to the Tibetan leader Dalai Lama. The temple complex is adorned with beautiful gardens, statues, and prayer flags. Next, you will visit the Bhagsunag Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and a popular tourist destination.

After that, you will visit the Bhagsunag Waterfall, a serene and beautiful waterfall that is surrounded by lush greenery. The sound of the waterfall and the picturesque view makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature’s beauty. Later, you will visit the St. John in the Wilderness Church, a beautiful church located in the middle of a deodar forest.

In the evening, you can stroll around the local market and try some local delicacies. You can also visit the Tibetan Market, famous for its colorful handicrafts and artifacts. After a fulfilling day of sightseeing and shopping, you will return to your hotel for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Day 4:- Full Day Dharamshala Local Sightseeings

Dharamshala, known for its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, has many famous palaces that are worth visiting. After breakfast, our taxi will take you on a full-day sightseeing tour of Dharamshala and its famous palaces.

Your first stop will be the Kangra Fort, an ancient fort that dates back to the 4th century BC. The fort has a rich history and has seen many rulers come and go. It is now a popular tourist attraction and offers a panoramic view of the Kangra Valley.

Next, you will visit the Masroor Rock Cut Temple, a unique temple carved out of a single rock. The temple complex has various intricate carvings and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After that, you will visit the Norbulingka Institute, a beautiful center dedicated to the preservation of Tibetan culture and art. Here, you can witness Tibetan art and craft demonstrations, and even take part in workshops.

After a delicious lunch, you will visit the Gyuto Monastery, one of the most famous monasteries in Dharamshala. It is home to a community of Tibetan monks and is known for its beautiful architecture and peaceful atmosphere. You can also visit the Namgyal Monastery, a famous Buddhist temple where the Dalai Lama resides.

In the evening, you can stroll around the local market and try some local delicacies. You can also visit the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, a picturesque stadium located at the foot of the Dhauladhar mountain range. After a fulfilling day of sightseeing, you will return to your hotel for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Day 5:- Transfer from Dharamshala to Pathankot

After a wonderful stay in Dharamshala, it’s time to say goodbye to the beautiful city and head back home. Our taxi will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a scenic 3-hour drive to Pathankot.

During the journey, you can enjoy the picturesque views of the lush green forests and valleys. Upon reaching Pathankot, our taxi will drop you off at the Railway Station/Bus Stand, where you can catch your train or bus to your next destination.
